Do you wish you had more time to do what you love? Discover the book that reminded me how to be more myself and do the things I love!
I read the title and was immediately intrigued. I read the subtitle and felt a rock in my stomach.
Can You Really Find More Time for the Things You Love?
The title made it clear: The Fringe Hours: Making Time for You.
I love the idea of using pockets of time to be more productive, but the notion that I should spend that currency on me? That was a bit much.
I dove into the book anyway. My main motivation was to check it off my to-do list. I received an advance copy and wanted to get through it to respond to questions about it. Just a few pages in, I stopped to find a highlighter.
God created you with a unique set of gifts and passions. May The Fringe Hours give you permission to pursue those desires.

I Was hooked.
It was a new kind of hooked for me as far as books go. I wanted to push through like a page-turning novel but I needed to be thoughtful with my reading and processing. This book became a catalyst for change in my life.
Not the January 1st kind of change, but change like the spring where combining the right elements over time produces something beautiful. I wanted that kind of change. And it has been.
Words are seeping into my soul through all the dirt beneath the surface.
When my shortcomings get the best of me, grace reminds me that I am a child of God and I am loved.

I Don’t Want It To End
I don’t want this book to end. I’ve been busy trying to wear so many hats and make sure they are perfect without realizing pieces of me were falling apart. In The Fringe Hours, I’ve been able to walk through who I am, what I love, and how to make it happen.
It’s a process that won’t end unless I let it. Some things are outside of our control, and that’s okay. But this is something we can make happen and doing so will only make us and those we love so much happier.
How do you make time for yourself in the busyness of life?
