Years ago I stumbled upon a book that I fell in love with. But I can’t tell you what it’s called.
The book was meaningful and deep, yet still entertaining. It didn’t tie things up in a perfect Christian bow, but it felt real. Almost like I could step right into it, look around and become part of it.
It was my first experience with Women of Faith Fiction, the same Women of Faith that used to host conferences around the country. Whenever I was looking for a book I knew I’d love, a book that would keep me turning pages, connecting with characters, and strengthen my faith I turned to another title on the list.
Sadly, they are no longer making these books but I’ve compiled a list that will keep you turning pages!

Rebecca, hi! I’m spying a couple of books that I read in years past … and some new to me volumes, too.
Thank you! I’m always collecting new titles to add to my to-read list. Right now it’s almost toppling over!
;-}
I know the feeling! These ones are so great, they make it worth it!
Great list of books Rebecca. I don’t take much time to read fiction, unfortunately. There’s just so much good stuff to read. I need more timeout in the reading corner!!! Pinned.
Thanks for linking up at InstaEncouragements!
Wouldn’t that be wonderful? I often say I wish reading would give the same rest that sleep does. But I do love sleep too!
What a great list of Christian fiction! I often find it hard to find a good fictions that is clean let alone Christian. Thanks for putting this together, I look forward to starting one of these soon. 8)
Yay! You’ll have to let me know what you think!
These look great! I am adding a few to my to-be-read list. I enjoy Sheila Walsh’s non-fiction, so I definitely want to try her fiction book. Thanks do much for sharing these!
I think you’ll love them!
Looks like a great list. I have heard of some of them but others are new to me. I miss the Women of Faith conferences too.
They were great, weren’t they?! Patsy was always a hoot!
Oh! These all sound so good! I’m always looking for good books :).
Yay! I hope you find a few you enjoy!
Visiting from #happynowlinkup.
I just requested RV there yet? from the library. Looking forward to some faith-filled reading!
Yay! I’d love to know what you think. It was a really fun read!
Rebecca, I loved seeing this post as it not only reminded me of some of our favorite novels but of a cherished time in our lives. We went to the WOF conferences in Hartford, CT. for years – my mom, daughter, and myself. We started when my daughter was about 15yo and went till they no longer were held. They are some of our favorite memories of our “girls’ time”.
Seriously?! I went to some of the WOF conferences in Hartford! I wonder if we were there together!!!
Thanks for sharing these recommendations. I’ve never really read any Christian fiction, but maybe I should give it a try!
Yes! Just like any books, you have to find what YOU love. But give it a try. I know you will find something you enjoy and that is a blessing to you!
Thank you so much for these suggestions! I’m always searching for good Christian fiction. I like Karen Kingsbury too as well as Debbie Macomber (her Mrs. Miracle books at Christmas are my favorites) and Richard Paul Evans.
Also, I enjoy reading your posts. I just started a faith blog and your posts are very encouraging to me:)
I’m so glad you’re here Suzanne!
Thanks for the excellent book suggestions, Rebecca! I don’t read fiction enough and I haven’t read any of these.

Thanks for sharing! I try to read one fiction and one non-fiction (at least) a month, but I stopped picking up fiction for some reason. It is the perfect way to decompress, especially right now!
What a great list Rebecca and so helpful right now when people are at home! It’s a great time to read and there are so many great options here! Thank you for sharing these with us and thank you for linking up @worthbeyondrubies
It is a great time to read. I was having trouble focusing on non-fiction, but fiction has been a welcome escape!
